Manga artists Ayami Kazama and Azure Konno are married, and, just like many other couples, they are thinking about starting a family. However, devastating news brings their plans to a halt: Ayami's body does not ovulate, leaving her infertile.

Determined to have a child with Azure, Ayami begins the long and grueling process of fertility treatment to eventually become pregnant.
